We now have in stock this very unique car.

This is my own personal car, which I have owned for the past 40,000 odd thousand miles and nearly 4 years.

Specification as follows:

2001 Clio 172

The only Clio to be running throttle bodies on the standard ECU and all standard sensors - a conversion that could be put back to standard or swapped to another PH1 172 very easily, no changing wiring looms etc.

Later style twin cat model with 2 lambdas

No alloy bonnet or shift light, though the bonnet has some underside cut off to give room for the air filter, so its light!

Full service history up to my ownership, which all servicing and repairs have been carried out by me in a fully specced workshop.

I have a fully packed folder full of literally hundreds of receipts, invoices, pictures, rolling road reports, plus so much more, a fully stamped service book, from my ownership I have personally wrote in what has been done.

It comes with 9 months MOT, and can have 6 months Tax

The miles may scare you, but because this has been looked after, it is still in fantastic mechanical condition, and it's making amazing power showing it's healthy.

The air con is also still connected and works fine.

The spec is as follows:

Engine:

Internally standard, bar a Yozzasport cat back stainless exhaust (The best for a Clio)

48mm Jenvey throttle bodies running on the standard ECU. This is the first and only Clio to have done this

On the usual rolling road I use it makes 209bhp and 165lb ft of torque, and the itb conversion has gained the car 39bhp and 15lb ft of torque.

90mm trumpets, Jenvey inlet manifold only a few months old.

Suspension:

Eibach Proline springs - circa 20,000 miles old.
Standard Renaultsport shocks, bought new from Renault when springs were replaced.
New top mounts and bearings were fitted at the same time.

Brakes:

Calipers off a low mileage 172, and have done circa 40,000 miles.
Pugsport drilled discs
Mintex 1144 pads
VW Spec brake fluid, renewed once a year
Goodridge braided brake lines

Other modifications:

OMP WRC steering wheel, dished
Aerocatches , lockable on the bonnet.
K-tec GRP N style engine mounts
Harder 'purple' compound dogbone mount bushes
4300k HID kit
LED side light bulbs (To match the HID's)

The car has been timed 0-60 in 5.72 secs, and ran a 14.2 @ 96mph 1/4 mile, with full interior, half tank of fuel and 23 degree heat - its very quick!

Genuine reason for this very regrettable sale
